well,where to begin,lets try at the start. after a phone call on friday by si asking for a lift down the canal
i arranged to collect him at 8-15 am.at set time i arrived to be told by his dad he was still in bed?
well alright it was 7-50am when i arrived,but si should know by now i'm always early (ask the good lady doh )
we where organised in a jiffy,and in the layby in no time (unfortunately it wasn't the layby everybody else was in double doh )
upon our arrival we where greeted by cheers of approval,well that's what i heard.
si tell's me he heard,words like ,osser's and los r's and ankers.myself i rise above such things.
after exchanging plesantry's with our very own trumpet player,we where relieved of money by tk and his henchmen.
si goes in the bag and comes out with peg 5,the baron of cheslyn hay (heinzer )peg 6 and i get peg 7.
this means about as much as it does to you reading this,as it did to me.
after taking bets on how far tk would get before collapsing in a heap we eagerly await his arrival.
the old crappity smacker cadges a lift and scupper's my plan of some easy money.
i'll get him next time
for the match i decided to fish the squatt across at 11mtrs,caster down the track and tight across(incase of lots of boats)and a 2mtr whip line,this should cover the day.
has it went only caught roughly 10-12 fish on the whip,and had the bulk at 11mtrs(small mainly).not a sniff on caster anywhere. :( :(
