I drew 26 on Broadmeadow once, slap behind the Forum. Gary Whalley was on 25; it was crap that day all we could catch were tiny cut sizes skimmers and roach that were getting you knowhere. Gaz declared he was going for a walk and if anyone wanted to buy his kit while he was away £5 was the minimum to accept! Anyway quite a few were walking that day so we hid his kit behind the wall. His face was a crappity smack picture when he came back. If I remembeer right I told him Fermanagh Council had took it away but even worst they were coming back for £17.50 they charge. I'll never forget his face, it were dead funny Image
On another occasion I took a pic of his 'new' pole float container, it was a Matalan placcy bag, needless to say he was in the AM the following week complete with pic Image Image

Great stories :D .I think everybody that came over in the
"boom time"  Imageof the 80's & 90's,experienced something they'll remember for
life,i've heard loads of them over the years, all
funny.I suppose theres a lot less younger anglers
coming over now,so less messing about.
Robert Buick's a top organiser & smashing bloke,saw
him at the ncffi AGM a month ago, just to say hello.

It`s taken where Nicky Seddon had the record Erne Match weight with around 250lb, can`t remember the exact weight, but he was catching bream at half depth on the pole, he couldn`t get his bait to the bottom that day!!! Image Only drawn Broadmeadows once in the early 90`s, won my section and qualified for the Gold Cup Final at my first attempt Image Image
