I scored lower than you Chris 18 points

. Peg 29 in G section (norbury) one off the end peg bridge hole. Had a lovely set of stick ups in front of me that looked great until i plumbed up and found 8 inches of water. Caught around 50 gobies, 4 roach and 2 perch for 980 grams could not get a bite after 3 hours when sun hit the canal. I knew I was in the sh!t when i put some bread in and did not have a bite over it. We did not have a single clue as to where any of our pegs were on the day so our team talk did not last long. Must say a very well done to Tony and his crew as the practice matches I fished were brilliantly run along with the national itself.

Didn't fish
Caught crappity smack all
p1ssed off to the Junction out of range of any phone signal.
Went to G section and did the recording.
crappity smacked off back to HQ, couldn't even get a crappity smacking pint.
Anyway well fished boys; in years to come it will be remebered as a really good and friendly match; mind you I didn't get to H section

Still feel crappity smacked.

Does anybody know who it was that got dropped off on the wrong canal last Saturday?
He was dropped off on D setion (Staffs-Worcs) and he should have been at Little Onn (E)on the Shroppie

Didn't fish myself but my local team Hull had to fish a man short , a guy dropped out at last minute and they couldn't get a replacement , he'd of been on H 39 i think , next to the lad who was 2nd with 11 kilos odd , is that a good peg

Fin,
In reality every single peg on Shugborough, even the open water, has and can produce a lump of a carp over the years. There are loads there, some well over 20 lb. The stretch is lock to lock as well so the chances of them moving are quite slim.
