i am excited about this match i went down for a practice here on saturday for a few hours early in morning beofre any poachers,copycats or nosey parkers came down to ask for autographs and the like. My biat was 1/2kilo of worm, match sack of joker,sweetcorn with barbara's special flavouring and a mix of chopped wasp grub and slug.

started off on the quill waggler using 6lb line and single slug.straight away i caught and didnt look back. Here is my catch

my bream on slug.

and it was spoilt late on when a guy and his kids came along making too much noise.

i must be an early favourite to win this match with fart and you other guys.

ended up with 9 tench 1 bream 2 silver bream and 1 big slug caught perch all in 2 hours, and spent first hr catching roach perch and ruffe on the jokerwith double leam approach

I had got 50 kg as I had received top info that you needed to fill it in .........but I've also heard that there's a bit of a hike

A bit of a trek is right TK, if its pegged where we went a few weeks ago, i'm not saying its far but i started with some maggots and they were fly's by the time i got to my peg.
