in france thats how close they are and they never moan
anyway just because the Quorn lads like 35yards between pegs

Erm let me get this right Joff, you prefere 15 yds to 35 on a river.
I know you don,t fish rivers much these days Joff but in general its better to have room on these natural venues as they generally do not have the head of fish compared to commercials.
I have to tell you this as i am not sure you knew

I have to tell you this as i am not sure you knew
i've never peg less than 20 yards
but i'm getting older now and like most anglers i don't want to walk a million miles for ten pegs this is putting more anglers off natural rivers then ever before mate in a way its our own fault for this as good pegs still get fished and are naturally maintained by use where others have just over grown
we have just had another team pull out of the winter league saying the very same thing the walks are too much
