I think some of these replies have wandered off the original thread.
There is no reason to abuse any organiser and I can only summise that the scalesman was part of the organising team.
Maybe there is a case of going back to the old days.
All complaints, with a seconder, must be done in writing to the organisers within an hour of the end of the match.
If these idiots (and that is a polite term) keep going at this rate there will not be any match organisers left.

thats two of us then weighed 3kg 450g yesterday of roach for 5th 250g off winning the section :-/messed about for skimmers for the first hour

If it was a sponsered angler then it`s not good for the sponsers,also there`s no excuse for having a go at a youngster.
Years ago 2 anglers got thrown out of Essex for being abusive.

Joff that has suprised me,i thought that it might have been his mate.
I`m sure that he has thought about it and now is regretting having a go at the young`un.
This would never have happened at Gold if you was over the weight limit in your net you would have been disqualified,end of.
Not going to comment on this anymore due to geting into too much trouble with other anglers in the past because of forums.
