Many thanks Simon.

I do not use Excel enough to fully understand it. So a lot of things are always going wrong and its important that you guys check it regularly.

Keith,
Don't want you upsetting the chairman but I think his dropped points should be 36 and not 50. :tiphat

I am in front by 2 points from Mick on the all matches count league with Tony secure in third unless he manages to throw it away. :fistycuffs :fistycuffs I ahead in the -2 league with Simon and Mick contesting the runners up spot. :rage :rage

John and Dave are tied on 115 points so all to play for on the last match. :whisper :whisper

The last update for the year 2018 .

I have been very fortunate this year to only miss one match completely. This has allowed me the to gain some bonus points over the chasing pack.

Dependant on how you look at the results.

All matches counting 1. Keith 2. Mick 3 Tony
Dropping 2 matches 1. Keith 2 Simon 3 Mick

Six of us managed to break the 1000lb mark for the season. Best two match weights were Simon's 385.08 from Orchard Place and John's 345.12 from Monks Lake

Many thanks Keith for doing this throughout the season, and well done on coming out top. Much deserved. You've gone up a gear mate. :tiphat
My season has been decidedly mixed and often below par. No way does my performance merit 3rd. On this occasion I think the '2 matches dropped' result gives a much more realistic picture of some excellent performances this year. Well done to all. :thumsup

Great stuff Keith.....being the statistical trainspotter I am, I have played about a bit with the final sheets adding an average weight per matches fished plus did change the average weight all told as only showed 13 matches fished in the calculation ( yes I am sad). Also added a 2nd tab to show the order on a dropped 2 basis (which given I move up to 2nd I naturally favour :thumsup ). Keith you smashed it on both counts but I think a dropped 2 basis is the right way to go as we have upped the number of matches and attending say 12 out of 14 is still proper commitment to the club in my eyes ;D

Simon - Many thanks for sense checking the data and adding to an already confusing spreadsheet( well for me it is). I am far from an expert in Excel but do play with it occasionally. Funnily enough I changed the average weight column on my sheet after the event as it did not look right. Still looked the same to me afterwards. Never thought of an average per matches fished.
I will continue in the same vain but you guys certainly need to check it regularly. I have rewritten the new 2019 sheet to include formulas but have not worked out how to lock the formulas in yet, so they stay in place.
