Been in special communication with the fishery and we agreed the fairest solution was you could use as much meat as you like Mick........mickyboy wrote:Also do you know about baits we can use etc

Yes meat is OK to use but must be no bigger than 1/8 inch across. Also to ensure there is no impact on the water quality from the fat every piece must we washed in hot water and dried off by hand individually.

So Willow is 5' deep and 2' in the margins. Forget all this stuff about deep water.Dave C wrote:Click the link for Ash lake and it says that Ash and willow are very similar. So comments for Ash apply to both.
PS Mick max feeding rate for meat is 1 small piece per day and no walking on the water

Right i have been and confirmed and decided to take the whole lake of 25 pegs so we can spread out. It has been suggested that you make sure you BRING YOUR WELLIES is it may get a bit muddy . There are concrete platforms and paths round the lake but there has been a lot of rain here and more to come later today.
There is a van there but its only for drinks and bits but NO food.
Net limit is 70lb so I suggest you have 3 or 4 nets if it fishes to its potential though all this rain may cause the fish to be a bit more difficult.
