Blimey, i feel for you all :o

Makes me glad when i read canal reports like these that i dont fish them anymore. There was a time i would sit in the cold/wet and prey for a bite- didnt enjoy it, i did it just to be out. Thank gawd for commercials is all i can say! Image

Hmmmm. I got to my peg and before the whistle went my bait tray blew in and I lost all my casters and 2 rigs and almost lost my bait stand if it weren't for my prompt slump to my belly to retrieve it. It took me 30 mins to tie 1 hooklength due to the wind keeping blowing the hook into my clothes. I managed to catch a fish and as I had to ship back with the pole I thought I'd pull my brolly down to see if any more motorbikes were coming only to have half a gallon of water go down inside my coat and earhole.

How I managed to finish 3rd with 4lbs 2oz 8 drm I'll never know. I must have watched the float go under at least a dozen times and couldn't be ar*ed to strike.

Roll on next time I say :D

Isnt that classed as feeding before the whistle Image and to even add the rigs as well, isnt that classed as fishing before the whistle Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image

Don't know, it was pegged out but Conna will tell you.
I think they only pegged it out because the actual peg numbers were hidden by the undergrowth.
So they might be the actual pegs.

pegs 5 and 6 are usually either side of the cycle barrier.

Yes Lee they were the usual pegs, we had to peg it out as the undergrowth had hidden all the pegs.
