can see where you are coming from with Henry Cursham.
The pool is in the very same area but the guy was a tad later.
Ah, lightbulb moment  - "Iremongers" Pond at Wilford  ;)
Would be Albert cos his brother Jim played for Forest (or was it the other way round?? :-? )

If not Butt was it Dion Dublin...?? :-*

Bang on that is and Dionne Dublin.

Not sure but I think Nicky Butt came on as a sub against Mexico in a friendly, he replaced Mcmanamanamanaman or whatever his crappity smacking name is. I'll check it all up in case three made their debut in the same match but I'm fairly sure it was only MO and DD.

Albert it was, he was a 6ft 6 inch keeper for County.
Lremongers it is. I think a club have it but they do sell day tickets. :thumsup :thumsup :thumsup :thumsup

The pond was on Notts AA book at one time, but they let it go. Think some locals took it on? ;)

2) contracts end on June 30th, ( uness you're - for example - 2 years into a three year deal, or something similar ) so I think its after this date and I think its 28 days. Although most teams will "break up" a week after their season finishes, normally coming back early July.

7. Racecourse at Wrexham. I think they still host U21 matches  :thumsup

Racecourse ground it is, opened before football in the veru early 1800s, still on the International list.
It is shared with a rugby team now, there was originally a racecouse there :thumsup

Thought this was the toughest one. Sir Stan married a Czech wench who was a low grade communist spy. After they married they lived in Malta for what are now obvious reasons. It was his second wife and she passed away 2/3 years back.
This was all revealed in a new book about the great one.

:rage :rage :rage nobody ought to have got that crappity smack :rage :rage :rage

If that means every Premiership player is entitled to five weeks paid holidayto be taken at a time determined by the club you are right.
It was a bit of a daft question really as clubs have added their own clauses. :thumsup

Talking of players contracts and various clauses and demands, I was reading about the arsenal player Corzola and his request not to be involved in any of the games around Christmas time, apparently it was a santi clause.

Yes Mike Pejic.
If I remember right Joe Mercer's comment was made in regards to the slight cleft lip he had; you could hardly tell if he was smiling or not.
He was a man of many tallents, when he played for England and Stoke he also ran a farm up Rudyard way, he may still have it-not sure on that one.
He represented England at taekwando in the over 60's age bracket some two or three years back.

The answer to No 8 is the earlier rounds in the 1930 World Cup Finals in Uruguay.

Romania beat Peru 3v1 at the Estadio Pocitos Stadium, Montevideo. the attendance was a whopping 300 and I haven't missed a nought off.

In the early rounds all the matches had quite low attendance because very few rated this competition and there was only 13 entries altogether.

For England, other than 1966, it was one of their much better efforts, - they didn't enter :rofl :rofl
