Image Imagedodge i've got it sorted mate last night had afew hours on one of the good pegs same rigs as sunday and did what you said it was good i'm sure its all about where you draw after sunday i did'nt think the method was right but it was the lack of fish in the peg to get bites i had to have 8 lines 5 over and 3 margins and thats the only reason i beat a few
it was the sort of thing you do in the middle of winter on a canal i could get a fish off one line then i had to move it would of been no good for individual glory but for a team match spot on i think when you draw in the middle of these snake lakes its all about percentages of bites if you get 30 bites its the angler who hits the most bites that moves up the section points Image

Nice one Joff thats good to hear  Image

Dont forget to fish a short line between poletip and float, 4 to
8 inches if its allowed......they will hook themselves mate  ;)

When we fished marina pool the far side was pants but the side nearest to the carpark/cafe was good,it was like that for all the six weeks we practiced.Mick Cocker won it off the far corner end peg mate.

Image Imagejust had a phone call yesterday 9 anglers turned up to fish lakeviews midweek match the problem being the rules state to have the golden peg included you need at least 10 anglers so the venue experts dick turpin and friend suggested they have a vote on it [golden peg was worth £500]so who would'nt vote no to paying for the extra peg so that they could have a chance of winning £500 would you anyway dick turpin won it off the golden peg but the problem was the extra peg that they all paid for was'nt put in the draw bag  Imageso surely this must be void  Image Imageone local angler walked round to see if it was fishing and when one angler said dick turpin was bagging on the golden peg he quickly counted up the anglers to find only nine fishing it  Image Image Imagei can't wait to here the out come this weekend Image Image

Fished the open on Blundells yesterday, bombed out , drew in a poor section on the day a couple of pegs away from one of the venue experts (Tolga) who has won the last 3 opens, peg 2 twice & and peg 3.Tolga won our section with just 32lb, we had one of them easterly winds which endpeg mentioned they had up at lindholme on thursday and it made things tricky for most and just goes to show how some pegs on commercials can fish one week and not the next !! The lad who won my lake and the match had a spare peg next to him but still did a very decent weight on the day of 65lb i think.

Well done to my team mate Steve Knowles who on his first visit to Blundells framed with 52lb odd, joint 4th on the day with Keiron Rich ......  from an unfancied peg aswell ....... well done Steve   Image
