Didn't Mick Mills keep a pub near Stafford. I know he still lives near Hixon2 Just reading his autobiography - G H
Spot on TK, Geoff Hurst, he is credited with one full appearance for Essex but I beliieve he played some minor stuff too.
He also kept a pub in Eccleshall for a while.
Which former England star kept the Dog and Doublet at Sandon, near Stafford? This is little know but he was there for years.

4 is right TK
6 You've got the year and the Div One side, Stoke City but who were the non-league team.
Don't know about Mick Mills but Neil Franklin (Stoke City and England) kept the Dog and Doublet at Sandon for many a year, they had a six day licence then, not sure if it still has. Must have belonged to the Sandon estate in those days, - it may still, not sure.
Never thought anyone would get Clapham Rovers.

Alex Williams was the first black goal keeper to play in the football league he was born just around the corner from Maine Road . When he had to retire from the game with a bad back he did endless work for the local community especially aspiring kids ! He has received countless awards for his work and now works in a role with MCFC with several community projectsDodge,

Anyways going back to Tefal head at Man Utd ........... how many excuses has he come up with so far in his short reign for not doing very well this season ?
