shouldnt bloody ask so many to go then should we  count me out anyway

Purely my fault Harry. :-[ :-[ I failed to let TK know of some dangerous pegs when I checked the length out last week and he unknowingly agreed to a few guests joining us.
Either way, there are still members out there who will not turn up without letting us know, and that should not happen >:( >:(

Should make it a nice even match TK. 18 pegs, all more or less the same distance apart, and comfortable platforms :thumsup :thumsup

Not a bad day, park right behind ya peg (well organised by Mr V, Tricast and KOD), the sun shone, the birds sang and despite the scorching and bright conditions plenty of wild fish were caught, with a few lost......

Smart draw well organised, off to peg 18 thanks to Tricast for helping me to unload.
Stick float and waggler rod set up although I had doubts about
overhead clearance to use the waggler.
First run through with the stick noticed Bream bubbling under an overhanging tree. Float disappears, rod bends, brief encounter with a lump, hook broken (oh pooh)
This is the start of a sequence of less than good luck, Pole is locked together, cannot reach the ideal distance. As feared I cannot cast any distance with the waggler. At this juncture, in desperation I decide on setting up a ledger rod (never been any good on previous visits to Baileys).
First cast<the line wraps around the quiver tip and it snaps, at this point I find I have left the spares at home. Execute a decapitation off broken tip and try again, the shortened works OK
The net result of my somewhat futile efforts 2 x2 inch Chub, 2 x 3 Roach, and 1 x 3.5 inch Kinver Tiger (Perch).
Oh great joy.
