Several of the Cashmores MG guys had a knock up on the Kennels section of the Extension
In form Yamo found some skimmers and dumpy roach to continue his impressive running streak
1st - Yamo 6-15
2nd - Obi 4-15
3rd- Mike the pike 3-7-14
Yamo with his winning catch
OBI had a bonus tinca to make up for 2 massive kinver tigers lost at the net, estimated to go 6lb+ between them
Cotti didn’t frame but had a few as well

Ryan , In answer to your enquiries , its a natural venue and thus nigh on impossible to say how many carp are in the canal .
I would say that for a fiver a year its cheap fishing and that there must be a greater buzz in catching a wild carp from a natural venue as opposed to some farm pond packed with hungry fish .
Give it a go if you fancy it .

Apart for announcements - canal closures, match bookings and annual permit applications etc, this topic is sadly a little quiet since Photobucket decided to charge quite considerable fees to host pictures relating to the canal.
The club now has a fb page in which some of the old photos and new ones going forward will feature - search Cashmores & Harrisons AC on fb for more info
