few pikers down on kennels section yesterday...taking a fair few out...no biggies best went about 8lb....water very clear

Canal now reopened for angling after its enforced close season due to its SSSI status

18 tench haul off the reed beds south of Wyrley Grove bridge today

Went for a walk along the Extention today with TK (we had been chatting with Big Col) ,
The further we went towards the A5 dead end, the greater the concentration of fish. At one point under the Willow tree, and without the benefit of polaroids we counted a shoal of at least twenty 1lb plus Bream . With plenty of indications of further high concentrations of both Bream roach.

Don't tell anyone about the parking at the A5 end Phil

As well as the bream shoal further down the cut I literally saw hundreds of roach.....some shoals must have had 100 to 200 fish in them....twas a warm sunny afternoon, basking not feeding
