Popped down early this afternoon to watch OBI bagging up
Before I got to him, this guy was having one a chuck on the wag down the track...........
Then the float dipped again and he was into summat better
After a 5 min battle his mate managed to net it..........
A 5-6lb jack had taken a liking to his mag

18 tench haul off the reed beds south of Wyrley Grove bridge today

Went for a walk along the Extention today with TK (we had been chatting with Big Col) ,
The further we went towards the A5 dead end, the greater the concentration of fish. At one point under the Willow tree, and without the benefit of polaroids we counted a shoal of at least twenty 1lb plus Bream . With plenty of indications of further high concentrations of both Bream roach.

As well as the bream shoal further down the cut I literally saw hundreds of roach.....some shoals must have had 100 to 200 fish in them....twas a warm sunny afternoon, basking not feeding
