iam a river angler i dont fish dogshit alleys.i would come if it was punch and squatt just to much exspence bloodworm and joker fishing and dont give me crap about being scared of useing it, in my experience ive found it very easy to fish with its harder to source good big joker unless your in the know like all you lucky sponsord anglers .

hammo we tried it last year without B/J STILL DIDN'T GET THE TURNOUT i've just picked up my bait today including B/j £12
if i was fishing the osier beds it would be a lot more mate
i know its not everyone's cup of tea but its not that expensive
i love punch fishing thats why i go to the wreake matches but even the turnouts are going down

Well what a grandstand finish to the Soar Valley w/l.
A tight finish right to the end ,there was always going to be a twist with the league being a close as it was and it didnt fail to disappoint .Three of the top 4 in the new section on the arches.
Individual
1 Dean Guess Long Eaton 7kg 040 Arches 4 chub
2 Higgy Trentmen 6kg odd Arches
3 P Mulvey Wigston 6kg odd Brinks 2
4C Beech quorn 5k 900 Arches
On the team front
1 Wigston 22pts
2 Long Eaton 23pts
3Quorn 29pts
4Trentmen 31pts
5Loughbro 43pts
This leaves the final league looking like this.
1 Trentmen 14 pts Win league on countback won 2rnds
2 Long Eaton 14 pts
3 Quorn 15pts
4Wigston 17pts
5 Loughbrough 28pts
Unbeleivable Long Eaton needed just 1 more point to win the league how close can you get to a finish than that .
Big thanks go to Brian Hull who ran the league single handed.
Individual overall Pete Jayes 9pts
