There was some action today when I popped down to see how the Lyng AC lads were getting on, despite a cold easterly wind

Ray 'the gaffer' soon had this tinca just after I arrived




Although there was still 3 hours to go, the guy on the next peg to Ray had lost 4


The otherside of the bridge on the junction this guy was having a few bites too, with small skimmers putting in a show




Up by the Fingerpost Pub, you'd gotta feel sorry for this member - just to the right of him his peg was like a jacuzzi as bream rolled all over the place, getting 'frisky' (click on the pictures to blow em up to see a swirl or two)

And after a battle the canny tinca dives for cover






All seemed lost with the fish well and truly snagged but after another 10mins the tug of war was won

Hopefully being able to jump onto the Extension in the next couple of weeks!
