Hi Joff
Hope you enjoyed yourself last week. If you need any copies of results/ zone sheets etc etc let me know and I'll mail you. ( that goes for anyone else who went, just let me have your e mail address)
Now Jof ( and you knew this was coming)If you go next year I think you need to take a little more care when getting ready at your peg and attach the right equipment together
This doesn't go on your landing net handle, I know you'd have got away with it on the Loughborough Canal, but not where proper fish are resident!!!!! ::) ::)

yes mate i'm still going next year but i'm not sure about the others :(some had really bad draws and drawing the moat on the last day didn't help them i'm sure it will get sorted as jan van shed full drew it on the same day as i did and was fuming about it
he then said it would never go in again while he has anything to do with the festival
one or two lads said they might try Ireland next year but we will see mate

not the best festival I've fished over in Holland but still had a great time with the lads pleasure fishing you could really bag-up yet when the festival started the weather went really cold and from catching 40kgs the weights dropped right off still thats one thing you can't do anything about
i managed a 18kg on the first day for 5th in my section second day i drew really crap and had two fish for 2kg the third match i managed a section win with 9kg840g helped long by a 15lb15oz carp still a win was win and 1 point going into the last match knowing only a good result would get me in the top 10
as you could drop your worst result and i had got 5,1,10 we all said 10 points would get you in so on the final day i was fishing B section i think 412 to 428
i asked jan shedfull and don where did i need to be in this section and both said the earlier numbers the better so i pullled out 425 the wrong end and when i say wrong end i weighted just short of 14kg for 9th in the section i ended up on 15points
still thats fishing even on the best venues you have to draw well and my luck had run out

tell me about it Joff, never been near a sluice this year, just carried on drawing as bad as I am back home. Still, it'll change eventually. It was harder this year, I think cos of not fishing the same pegs everyday.
The last week, I hardly got my Throwing stick out and the last day hardly fed a thing through the match, maybe droppered 6 times and 3 or 4 pot's with not much in.
I was 383 first day, 14 kilos, 2nd in section, 2nd day moat, 8th with 5 kilos, but fished like a clown in a tight section 10 kilos won, 1 more fish would have been 3rd. 3rd day 317, wrong end of the sluice section, just under 20kilos, caught some on the bomb and the pole, but I think maybe sticking on the bomb would have caught me more as it was blowing a gale and holding the pole was a nightmare. 23 kilos won the section off the usual flyers so it was tight. last day drew 438, nobody had a clue where you wanted in the section. I had 14 kilos, won section which gave me 9 points and 5th overall.
Don't know if i'm going next year, the thing I don't like is the 4 hours. every match I was left wanting to fish on, the matches go so quick. Anyway we'll see.

I'm toying with the idea of fishing the week before do they rotate that festival in the same way darran told me it was rotated in just two halfs as scrivs had 303 twice in a week
nice if you can draw like that

That was the very first week , there was only 30 on that one, they rotate two 30 peg sections and have an open draw each day.
Jan said they def won't let us fish the same pegs every day, so personally I think the fishing will stay peggy like it was.
303 twice in a week,
where is it. I've drawn under 310 twice in about 20 festivals.
