ratty no full area is black country. The true black country is made up of little pockets throught out the dudley/ walsall area. The black grountry is from were the founderies and smelters were. Parts of walsall are well known for their chain making which is part of the black country, so are parts of cradley, hocker hill, quary bonk, ect.
