I will go for former Scotland keeper Tommy Younger. He played for Liverpool before Leeds where, if I remember right, he was nicknamed 'The Flying Pig'.

He also played a few games for the mighty Potters Image Image

Certainly got no fish snot.

I saw Tommy Younger when he played for Liverpool in the lake 50s down at Stoke. Couldn't be sure but I have a feeling he was one of the rare breed of Goalkeeper/captains.

ps Roy Wodd (singer from The Who) comes from somewhere around Nuneaton or he used to live there. No doubt we shall hear his dulcet tones in a few weeks Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image
