I'm totally gutted to have to report the passing of a great friend of mine last night, Les Joiner; many of you will remember him.
Les loved living and loved fishing; he was a tremendous big hearted character and we had so many wonderful and funny times and never one cross word.
Condolences to Jan, son Mark and all the family.

So, so sad. Like Bill says, a real character. Not met many nicer blokes on the banks, and a pleasure to sit in his company after matches. There was never a dull moment when Les, Ringo, Tex, Diigger Bailey and Twink were in the pub after matches. R.I.P old pal
