I had one, they were a bit of a cult pole down in the South West. As Mike Stone also used one and he was a bit of a hero down here. There were 2 models of TPGT 1400 the one pictured packed into one at 14M but there was another which had parallel extensions after 11m so was slimmer, I had both. They were off the exact mandrel as the Shakespeare superteam of the same era and I used the superteam's top 3's as they were cheaper, I don't still have it, and no idea who I sold it too either?

I still use the 11m TPGT on the Wye for chop worm fishing

first top of the range pole I owned - bought it from jim johnson's in south london
