Come to Stapenhill next to the Trent and there are loads of B****dy shrines to them !!!! Don't get me wrong, I love to see them and hate to see any harm to them, but when You have 500 hundred in yer peg and you are trying to fish the wag !!!!!!!!!!

Aw, wind yer necks in and get on with it! I drew there once and couldn't feed the swim properly due to swans, but I was catching nicely on the wagg, sometimes with the float brushing against the sides of the swans. Then the swans cleared off - and so did the fish! All the time they were there I was thinking 'if these clear off I'll sack up!' I reckon I had about 7 lb-odd in the first two hours while the swans were there, and ended up with just over 8 lb. ::)
