Is it allowed to feed pole lines via a pole and pole cup, while actively fishing with a lead/feeder rod ?
Seem to remember this being debated at a club I was with many, many years ago but poles were quite new then !
Didnt know the answer so didnt do it yesterday.

Question re match Rules
no. You can only use 1 rod/ pole at a time. There nothing stopping you feeding a pole line with a catty whilst fishing with a rod, but you can't put your rod down with a baited hook in the water and use a pole cup to feed another line
Question re match Rules
Whilst I personally cant get excited about it, rule 15 from the NFA model rules does state
15. All groundbait may be thrown in by hand, or by use of one or two handed catapults, throwing sticks, swim feeders, bait droppers and bait cups, but no other mechanical means of projecting groundbait is allowed. No bait shall be introduced with a pole cup or bait dropper attached to an extra rod/pole whilst continuing to fish.
As Cashmores supposedly fish to NFA rules (although I do see a few not strictly adhered too) you did the right thing Tigerbay

Question re match Rules
Thought I was doing the right thing. But suddenly thought last night, did I need to keep reeling in before I cupped bait in on pole lines ? Dont bother reeling in while pleasure fishing !
