England were on a roll.............. after winning the European Championship in 1953 at Lake Garda, they followed this up with another victory the next year

I think in 1954 the European Championship became the World Championships and it was held in Germany (West). TK's right England did win; I can't put a name to this guy but I think her was from the Bradford/Leeds area
