The tide and floodwater was too large, I understand that the 3 dayer on the tidal Trent was cancelled. Shame, I half fancied it myself but the Yare is fishing better so why go anywhere else?

Hi Richard,
yer the trent festival was cancelled on day two, we fished day one, I won my section with 14lb and was fourth on weight.
Looking forward to day two but it was not to be. Shame really because it was interesting fishing, but with the amount of rain we had it would have been quite dangerous if any one slipped. Also the cars were getting stuck in the mud on day one so it would have been worse on day two.
