just returned from an enjoyable winter league meeting this evening good venues good Teams and sensible rules . Only down side for me is that Sensas North West are not fielding a team this season . Made some good friends last season , but hope to see the guys on other matchs on the circut,.
I Know the traveling my have played a big part in there descision so good luck to you in what ever winter league you end up in.

Angling Times winter League Warwickshire Division.
Thanks for those kind words Paul
Our situation at Sensas North West is a bit complicated to say the least regarding the Angling Times Winter league and the lads that run our set up are "exploring" one or two avenues and also seeking clarification with the people who run the AT Winter lge, its a nightmare situation for us but hopefully a solution will be found sooner rather than later
The Warks winter lge last year was a fantastic advert for top flight canal b/joker team fishing in England, superbly run by Lee Woodhouse and a great effort by everybody involved. Top banter, decent fishing when the weather allowed and an incredibly high level of competitive team fishing, it was a real shame only 2 teams went through to the semis.
The travelling does take its toll,we were on the road every weekend from october to march fishing various leagues clocking anywhere from 150 miles to 400 miles every weekend
Think you will all still have to put up with us on the other b/joker canal leagues that are run in the West Midlands and Stafford area next winter tho, coz apart from the banter.....we enjoy taking money off yers
