Useful, but almost redundant pieces of kit?
Useful, but almost redundant pieces of kit?
Many moons ago I used to use a bait dropper quite regularly – particularly on the river, but also even on the cuts those days for certain baits.
Perhaps it’s a combination of
[ch61656] not fishing the same venues these days or as frequently,
[ch61656] almost certainly absent mindedness (as I did fish a deep pool last year where upon reflection I should have probably used a bait dropper to better effect) plus
[ch61656] the advent of cupping kits
that’s almost rendered this piece of kit redundant in my box.
Anyone else still use a Bait Dropper these days? If so when and where?
Got any other (almost) redundant kit you carry with you every time out?

throwing stick as you can't use cattys in holland on the festivals so it was as important as the bait dropper it's a good bit of kit and i can see uses in this country
