lucky!!! but good, ive seen better goals george wea from a few years back when he was at chelsea, he picked the ball up sumwhere near his own penalty box, then literally beat the whole opposition team on his own then scored.. must be on youtube sumwhere? oops just realised its best of 2012..urm

Think I saw the best goal of 2012 at Stoke last night. A good thirty yards out and the Stoke golie, as good as Begavic is, never moved.

Brilliant goal by Valencia; really good game to watch with the contrast of styles.

Reffing, especially in the second half was no better than poor; he was dishing out more yellow cards faster than I can get a float stuck up a tree

It wasn't a blast or anything like that the number 8 just looked up before he hit it and that where it went.
Any proper Stoke fan will tell you it's the best goal they have ever seen at the Brit. Like all good goals it seemed to all happen in slow motion.

Maybe refs should be all ex-players who have played to a top standard; some don't seem to know what a proper slide tackle is.
After all a top class footballers working life is only short.

Another case for for not paying them 'silly money'????
