Seem to remember him having one of the first Amorphous Whisker 16m poles. Let me have a waggle with it on a Super league match on the 16 foot.

Ron Stacey still pleasure fishes but not so much since his heart trouble.
Andy Allen still fish's makins winter league.(Still wins loads !)
Roger goes all the time !!! but local carp lakes and white acres.
Barry packed up years ago.
Dick packed up about 3/4 years ago and now goes to watch Leicester City with Steve Crocker.
Steve W. does not fish anymore.
Steve Clarke still goes to Hallcroft, but at the weekends he watches his lad who is a high league Rugby player.
Kim Milsom actually does odd articles in Bird Watching Magazines !
The last time I saw Steve Canty fish was on the Stainforth and Keadby Canal in a National about 8/9 years ago !! I think that did him ! (top trent angler on the stick float back in the day).
It's sad when anglers fade away, but a few come back eh Kingfisher !

does any body know if dave dale still fishes dawsons son, did some bloodworm matches with him about 15 years ago at pelsal and fished with him and peter plant junr about 25 years ago with esington wmc

choppy i think dick wade was seen at makins the other week ,his name came up in conversation a long with tony Blackwell
choppy if you went on some of the wreake matches you'd be surprised who still fishes and the same goes for the glebe fishery

brian envis ,john essex dagger ward all still fish,it just shows how well pete jayes has done
