A Fourth Division was added in 1978 to the annual team and individual championships organised by the National Federation of Anglers. The first winners were Swindon Talisman team.

34 teams fished the Div 4 match Swindon Talisman scored 353 points and weighed in 30lb 1oz from the West Country’s River Huntspill and the South and King’s Sedgemoor Drains Somerset

Pete Ottewill has won the Sedgemore champs earlier and if i recall did blank on this match.
useless info but a good memory for me.

Who are you Wiley? I fished the nationals with South Norwood from 1980 til 1990 . My first one was on a flooded river Ancholme.
