Coseley Canal
well went down again and water was crystal, walked up past the road bridge and its the same all the way up....made my way back and decided there was no point....
So, decided to walk the other direction towards tipton, got to the barge and barrel pub, set up opposite boat yard by the locks, only planned an hour so didnt take keep net, bite a chuck on punch...
ended up staying 4 hours!!....wish i took the keep net!
these were the first two i caught but as i nearly dropped my phone in the water i didnt risk taking any more pics

Very nice fluke.. Where is that bit ofstretch??
Coseley Canal
just around from the barge and barrel under the pedestrian bridge.
i was also told by a few other guys i saw down there that there is a very good spot that goes about 6ft deep holding some nice tench and large roach and perch, thats over the pedestrian bridge about 2-300 metres on the bend, fish between two trees on the other side about 3/4 the way out, went down there earlier for a walk and saw two guys fishing there on maggot and they had some 2-3lb tench in the net so worth taking a look at next time, probably going to go down for the day on saturday weather permitting.
