Silver fish matches Rycroft( Hemmington )

As well as my silver fish matches on some saturdays on the Carp Lake and Donno lake at Hemmington( which start on Sat 15th October, got 5 places left if anyone fancies it, i'll put a thread up for that after this) I'm also going to try and get a regular wednesday silver fish match going on the Carp Lake there.
Silvers only, No carp /F1's, No bait bans, float only.
Draw 9am, fish 10-15 to 3-15
£15 all in.
I've got 10 up to now for the first one, I like to limit it to 20 so I can leave corners out etc.
I might do an odd one on Donno lake which I could get a few more pegs and is also very good for silvers.

Fished the first of my Wednesday Silver fish matches today.

fished really well. everyone caught

1st Andy Taft 36lb 7oz, skimmers/Bream/roach ( must have been solid!!!!

2nd Lee Bennett 26lb 15oz skimmers/Bream

3rd Wayne Swinscoe 25lb 2 oz Roach/ perch/skimmers

4th Drac 23lb 14 oz
5th Bob Stevens 21lb
6th Mick Cobb 20lb 7oz
7th Graham Barry 18lb 6oz
8th Stan Piecha 15lb 13oz
9th Pete Cook 14lb 4oz
10th Tony Scott 12lb 8oz

cracking day, good laugh, fish caught all round.

I'll keep doing these on wednesdays as long as I get the interest.

No probs Tony. I enjoyed the company today.For me to win was a bonus. To beat anglers such as Wayne, Stan and yourself is a great feather in my cap. ( I can only imagine what Wayne would have had off my peg!)

weather took a turn for the worse, frost, cold wind, bright but the weights I thought were really good considering

He loves it there Joff. It's fishing really well, just wish I could get a few more there on a wednesday.
Fish being caught all over the lake, mixed bags too. Stu Naylor had 100 roach for 17lb last saturday on caster.
15 fished, 10 double figure weights. I should be sold out every week.

Still having these matches and it's still fishing really well.
Just a nightmare getting people to fish, TBH it baffles me. Everyone, bar none gets bites, (ok, not every peg is a winner but where is), 15 fished my last saturday league match and 10 had double figures.
Only a handfull fished yesterday, 23lb won it, mixed bag of skimmers/ roach and perch on worm and caster.
hardly any walking, most pegs park behind your peg, cafe is open and will bring drinks etc to your peg, you can use B/J but don't need it at the moment.
£15 all in.

can anyone fish it ?? as some of the lads are looking to go somewhere they are fishing saturday with you
barston has got 40 plus on it anything goes i've been out practicing with the method and i will have some spare B/J so i should have a days fishing
plus i'm doing a report and photo for the event

Yes anyone can fish, let them know, they're welcome. They can use b/J although it's not essential. I had double figures yesterday without it.

i did managed to get to barston in the week had a few carp while the b/j line was settling and then had a f1 or a skimmer most put-ins, although i don't do carping i am looking forward to it .
who knows next stop could be the glebe
