In Aid Of St Lukes Hospice Charity Match ,

Trent & Mersey Canal Northwich , Sunday September 18th    57 fished.


1st   Roger Gardom    Ted Carter Southport  9-1-4 (£205)

2nd  Ant Marsden   Sams Tackle Wigan  7-7-0

3rd  Simon Nicholas   Saints   6-14-4

4th Dessie Dingwall  Birkenhead  6-2-2


I had all roach plus 2 skimmers on squatt , pinkie and caster from peg 5 near farm road bridge ...... Ant had some big perch and an eel on worm down the track from peg 12 towards the broken cross pub.

Well in Dodge!

I drew the end peg in the match! Ten minutes before all in two people and three springer spaniels appeared on the boat opposite!

Still managed to catch 4lb, once they started moving about it killed the swim! Ashame as there were plenty of fish there!

Well done the winners!

Only just caught up with this result after jollies - nice one Dodge Image

Had a walk along the T&M at Wolseley Bridge this afternoon......teeming with fish showing all over the cut.......wished we were on it in the morn instead of the river :'(
