Champions League
I am sat here typing about the Champions League .....
Never in my my lifetime did i think my club , the club i have have followed since a little kid in short pants and wearing a jumper knitted by my mum was my football club going to join and play against Europes Elite football clubs ...... some dreams do come true , fairytales do come true .......
its happening right now at Manchester City FC , a football club with a humble, proud , fantastically humourus fan base who are loyal to the clubs cause through thick and thin....... lots and lots of football writers , pundits , experts are saying Manchester City are on the brink of becoming the "new" Barcelona with their breathtaking stylish attacking football never seen before in the English premier league ........
I am living the dream , it is happening right now , i have bought 2 champions league tickets for Manchester City v Napoli on wednesday night , i never thought it would happen .......
But i will be there with my 15 year old son , my dream has become reality ........ i am proud and humbled.

Hving re-read my posts I must admit they do sound a bit arrogant.
The problem in when you follow the top teams like Manchester United and Stoke City these big name European teams are meat and drink; you know Hadjuk Split, Dynamo Kiev and Liverpool just to mention a few off the top of my head.
When you get amongst the big boys I think Man U and Stoke would see Nippley as a fairly sharp training session; no fuss they'd just get on with it, - it comes with experience in such circles.

It was a brilliant night joff thanks
The Atmosphere and occasion was an awesome experience , the place was rocking ! 3,000 mental napoli fans played their part , it was there debut in the champions league aswell , very good well organised team who could well upset Bayern Munich and Villareal in my opinion Dissapointed with only a draw but City will hopefully learn from it , you have to take your chances at that level
Only downside was that no beer or alcohol could be served in the ground as it is banned in England for champions leagues games ? proper spitting feathers !!!!
Champions League
anyone know how the english barcalona did in krautland

Its no big deal getting nothing in Munich even under the circumstances ...... 8 points could be enough to qualify from our group as it has proper teams in it.
United on the otherhand are next to bottom of the EASIEST group in the champions league ..... proper turd without rooney !
