I reckon you were tipped off Simple Si.
The curse struck again.

Looked like the station was switched off. No steam from the towers meaning no hot water being pumped in. Rang Mrs K and told her to put the kettle on........to no avail.
Guess what - 5 mins after packing up - pumps start - steam billowing out of the hurdy gurdy and warm water running into the pond. Glad the gudgeon charmer witnessed it or you'd think I was telling porkies. By the time we left the gudgeon charmer's peg was just getting enveloped in steam rising from the water

I would have come as all my stuff was in the car ready which I always do the night before. But I wouldn't have been able to get through the security gates would I.

Well id like to thank Tk for inviting me to fish this mini series (and you were invied si). The venue was totaly different to what im used to (and you si but you lost your bottle to find oout), a pool like a canal, with a flow, and beasty fish (thats why you bottled it si because the fish fight back) Well i caught 2 pbs today so am well chuffed - first was my smallest gudgeon ive ever caught all of 2cm long and the second was my smallest chub ever just about making a cm long to give me a weight of 11drm (and not a did not show si). I was smashed 5 times by something that fight back. Just think si you could of tested that pole you are trying to sell out. I told you you need to test the pole out before you can sell it, but youve got no confidence in the pole so didnt show.

Well at least ive won the first side bet of a quid plus the didnt show penalty which doubles the bet so im 2 quid up already

Yes - was going to post earlier, but I've a query on one guys weight - it's recorded as 0.1.11 but I'm sure he did a pound plus so I'm hanging on a call so that I get the points correct with no subsequent disputes

It can be a topsy turvey league. GT won 3 matches on there last year and still failed to win the coverted crown. We need Golden Balls Ludgate not to draw a flyer for a change for starters
