Big Baz fished it last week for the first time and 'sacked up'

Said it would have made a good venue for us shame it's a tad small with only 19 pegs (I think he said)'

cheers tk. i will go over there then. I just didnt want to go all over there and find it closed when i could of gone some were else

I said that last year that it would of made a good match venue but it hadn't enough pegs plus when most of the pegs are in use the fish seem to pack up and go on a day trip.

definitely open ME..havnt fished it for a couple weeks,he has now done the drive and carparks.

only usually fish the top pool but have "filled me net " the last couple of visits (which is unusal for me)  :D

dont know the peg numbers but i fished the top pool, far bank tight to the island in a cut out the fish had made, used corn over pellets.
week b4 carp didnt want to know so used big punched bread @ about 4 metres with lqqy feed and never had a sniff of any carp but plenty of bream to 3lb and tench biggest about 5lb on the peg opposite.

nice place ..bailiffs dont bother u much  i like the bit when i asked him about the fishery rules and his reply was "common sense "  Image Image

Thanks for that advice obi. thats what i liked about it when i used to go last year, you paid the baliff and he left you alone less you spoke to them to ask for info/ advice ect. The peg i used to fish on top pool was as you go in to the pool the 2nd peg round to the left. At about 7 meters there is a hole so when you plum up you get a depth then you find the hole. I have always had loads of tench from fishing in that hole on corn over pellet .
