Who scored a hat-trick in the Premiership for his team and only scored one more goal in it (for the same team).
Who was the player and who did he play for?

I can name a player who scored a hattrick on his debut, and never scored another goal for that club - and he's still playing.

I think this one retired not too long back. He may have scored a hat trick on his debut for this club in the Premiership but he definitely scored one more goal (for the same team).

I wonder if you are thinking of Bolton Wanderers Fredi Bobic who had a brief loan spell there?
The hattrick on debut man and no more goals is J. Pennant for Arsenal.

Fredi Bobic it is - a loan spell, as you say for Bolton. He played 15 times and helped stave off relegation.
