2011 calander changes to the summer league

with the price of fuel and everyone's pockets being felt we have decided to try and make it a little easier on your pockets
the season starts off with a spring league around the canals in leicestershire
24 April nothing booked yet
15th April no match
8th may site championship

22nd IVANS WEEKEND GLEBE SAT/SUN book now anyone can fish
29th bank holiday no match i think the boats will be bad on the canal
5th 12th 9th
26th June 1st round SUMMER LEAGUE CANAL
3rd July
10th July nothing booked [junky canal]
17th 24th 31 July have nothing booked as most are on holiday and the others will have time to practice for the national
which is on the 6th august

august 28th is a spare date if needed

we are all hoping theses matches will be 50 to 60 peggers and we will still do the £40 every 5 pegs in the summer and spring league

just had to make a few changes to the calendar the spring league is now over 3 rounds on three different canals

good response so far i will put a ruff balance sheet up soon
i have one question i've had the booking form for eye kettleby and need to pay up front so its time to say yes or no to fishing the league

the spring league 5th 12th and 19th on three different canals will be teams of four
waters are booked now so please let me know asp

the same with the summer league which will be teams of six

if teams involved with the league could leave a email address it would make it so easy to keep in touch

new teams are welcome anytime and please don't think you can't win it last year any of five teams could of won

its not the winning its the taking part and the banter

no interest or no one has my number or it will be all last minute lee

at the end of the day i can't keep running around phoning everyone up

venues have to be booked so its not looking good

at least its a 60 pegger every week choppy not sure about the 6 hour matches

there is only so much enjoyment catching pigs

by the looks of it we are all retied

Joff,
I do think you are looking at the glass half empty as regards open match fishing.
Yes team fishing is on it's knees, however there are plenty of individual open matches out there, you just have to travel a bit further.

the biggest problem mate is i'm too old in the tooth and change is something that i have to do i'l be around but i like my season planned out
i'l get there somehow

but like i say i'm not looking for 20 peggers

the other problem is i just love team fishing

seven teams are so far fishing the summer league could do with one more or three
we are going to cut it down to six matches rather than 8 will up date the calender later
