have been booked for some time now for the 2012 season.

Still got one to book for May 2012

Still looking for suggestions - dont forget, needs to be summat else in there incase

a) its too early for the venue
b) its still too cold for the venue
c) it never fishes any good until July or August
c) the crap are spawning...........

There again, perhaps the close season might be lifted on the rivers next season ::)

No Simps - with our turnouts, think we've outgrown it as I could only book 20 pegs last time (with some pegs reserved for members) and weve been getting more than that out

Try Stafford moor loads of silvers there  :D :D

Any gudgeon to go at :D

Ive fished here often.. too peggy, too commercialised ( THEIR hookers and feed pellets) the sarnies are shite value for money it does, however, have an abundance of silvers, mind you, some wallies lads fished it the other week and their weights were crap ;)

Err Err... if your expecting me to be polite and coy... think again... The shrubbery lads bombed out on there...
To be fair, its a funny venue, but Im damn sure they could have bettered the weights by going for silvers, feeding little and very often, and fishing shallow... Ive done that there in all weathers, including hard frosts, first to admit Im sh!te on commies, but my worst ever weight off Charlies is about 7lbs, and on that day, I was flued up, hungover, spent half the day on the toilet, had two hours kip in the car, walked round 3 times and didnt take any bait  ;)
Teasing a bit lads... but your weights were poor.... for someone not to have had a few suggests something was wrong somewhere   Image
And for the record.. before I get ripped to bits, my comments are said with my tongue firmly in my cheek... lifes way tooo short to be crappity smack serious, especially when your as crap at fishing as me ( TK only let me join Cashmores to make himself look good) :D

We've only visited it once Bullah and Dave - a little later in the month than the Shrubbery

28-Apr-07 Broad Acres - Charlies Pool

But we didnt exactly set the world on fire either :'(

Think your lowest 7lb weight would have been worth quite a few Cashmores Curse points on that day :D
