hi
55 fished the last practice match before the semi final next week
with the semi final only a week a way, anglers from all over the country took part hoping to find the right method and tactics to be successful in next week final. the only problem was the fish didn't play ball and most competitors were left scratching there heads.conditions looked good and the sun made a welcome appearance but the fish played hard to get. one man ,first visit in two or three years must think its the best canal in the country as his previous visit two years ago he won as well.Lee Addy DNW drew on the tree's at glebe street a favoured area yet has been slow to find its form ,Lee made no mistakes taking perch and quality roach on caster and backed it up with some small fish on bloodworm and joker 2nd was Simon mottram of Hankat with 7lb 4oz 3rd Mick turner Ossets 6lb 10oz 4th mark Addy DNW 5lb 13oz 5th Mick Davis Sam's tackle 4lb 2oz and 6th was Dean martin Sam's tackle 3lb 11oz
the semi final takes place on march the 13th and i wish the local team all the best Quorn AS
dodge i think with North West being split this year its coursed mark Addy a few problems and bairing in mind they got there through the back door it will be interesting to see how they get on
minyou yesterday was the first time they had been up and both the addys drew bang on
209 not drawn 221 not drawn 259 260 not drawn and peg 1 on the boats not drawn 14 no showers yesterday and i sat on one of the shitest pegs on the match length
15 on the swingbridge where the cables go under the canal no features and either side you have reed beds
