2011 Burton Angling Festival - 16/05/2011
The Burton Angling Festival 2011 will again take place in September on the 20th, 21st and 22nd (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).
This is the 4th year Coors AC have held the festival. All three previous festivals have fished really well and last year's exceptional. We have seen some of the best roach fishing the Trent has ever produced, with over 20lb needed to frame!
This year's event will again be split between Burton and Shardlow with a total of 60 pegs, as it offers the best fishing. The anglers who took part last year will be invited to fish this year's festival.
Running up to the event there will be a series of three open matches on Sunday, August 21st, Sunday, September 4th and Sunday, September 11th. The pegs for these matches will be split between Burton and Shardlow so everyone can get a look at the venues for the festival.
