Yes, proud to be English and I never thought I would ever say that again
Stopped up till the end, seeing the wickets fall on Ceefax or whatever it is crappity smack called.
Ozzies well up the Swanny
Fair do's this may not be the best Ozzie side but they are far from the worse and it is tremendously hard to win a test against them here, even harder over there. If you look at their recent past so much revolved around Shane Warne, the best spinner ever to be seen. No team in the world can loose players like that.
I know we have seen it before but I don't think so this time.
They will have an odd moment or two with the bat and that's it. 6, 4, 6, 4, 4, 4, 4 keep whacking 'em lads
Anyone hear Boycott on Radio 5 live Extra this morning before the match, I quote -
" England can't win this match, I guarantee it, England can't win"
Didn't hear him apologise at stumps!
I must admit to groaning out loud when I heard England were going to bowl after winning the toss. Especially as they said that the wicket would take spin in days 4 and 5. Whatever happened to, and I forget the exact quote or who said it but it went something like " If you win the toss and think about bowling first, take a step back and a minute to review your decision then bat!"
