Happy Xmas

Well I will hopefully be leaving the snow, ice and cold for the rest of you to enjoy for the next 4 weeks ( Provided that Gatwick Airport isnt snowed in on Saturday that is)

I hope you all have a merry Xmas and a good New Year and Woodies doesnt run out of booze. Thank you all, especially Joff and Bill for the laughs and serious stuff and keep it up next year. Keep the write ups coming TK there really are appreciated.

Ill be thinking of you all while sunning myself.

Nowhere as upmarket as those places Choppie. This time we are having to put up with Barbados, Aruba, Jamaica, Cozumel, New Orleans, Key West, Antigua, St Lucia, etc etc.

No money left any more Joff, just spent it all on the holiday. :( :(

Wont bother looking at the snow on the telly as Im sure you lot will cope with it, I think Ill prefer sitting on the balcony in the sunshine.

dave you don't want any money mate i lost my dad last weekend and because he had amount of money put away when he went [had to go] into a care home they drained him of a large amount of his savings that he had worked for and forte for his country for
in the end they even tried to get money from the joint account

this i took to court with as he had been ill for 20 odd years and had not contributed anything towards this

and won

but nothing ever got back dated
so dave spend it while you have it mate

ironic that my dad served on the ark royal in the second world war as a engineer on the plans and often counted them in and a lot had to return to fight the next day still shot to pieces

one of his apprentices at the time was at the same care home but payed nothing as he had nothing ironic ain't it

And who said pensioners can't live off their pensions, who reckons pensioners are poor, is this the new way of pensioners keeping warm by going to were its warm rather than trying to keep a room in there home warm

If Dave is flying today ........

Erm ...... all flights cancelled out of Gatwick and loads from Heathrow due to the snow
