you were not at the AGM when we welcomed back an ex member who had previously fished with us for several years, who was previously a valued 'active' member as trophy steward, who had dropped out unexpectedly last year because of personal reasons.

Didnt know that was a criteria to be met before a prospective member could join Cashmores, but sorry to disagree on that statement too......two of the four new members fished as guests on more than one occasion - on matches that you also fished!!!
and am sure they have not been to any of our meetings to be voted on
Of course they haven’t - the vacancies didn’t exist at the time of the AGM in November
In fact re the 'voted on' bit............that's a bit Victorian - as far as I'm concerned in all my time as a Cashmores member (18 years) rather than 'voted on them’ , I’d like to think we've 'welcomed' any new members (if any vacancies existed) to the AGM.
In fact looking at the current membership list of 28 names, 21 members have joined after me…………….and many more names have come and gone over the years……….anglers that joined us as members without the necessity of a 'vote'
Looks a very good mix there TK. Should be an interesting competition,
