yesterday afternoon was very disappointing i had loads of old bait that wanted using so i picked a normally good chub peg 
after 2 hours and a few bits no chub infact it looked devoid of chub

rich just stopped at the 1860 bridge two blokes fishing the weir one had 5 pike up to 16lb and the other had taken 2 but one was 19lb
