Hiya Herbie - do you reckon Roon the Loon will still be at United come the Jan transfer window?

I just wander...........if giving him a new contract was just a ploy - ok it cost's em a few extra million in wages over the period Oct - Jan..........but if United sell him with 5yrs to run on a contract they must expect quite a few million extra as oppose to selling him with just 12 months to run

I just wander if was all a clever deal by Taggart to save the situation and Taggart will show him just who is the boss for that 'embarassing' episode with Roon being shown the door Image

you could be right tony. i thought the ronaldo deal was done 12 months before it happened. it goes like this " roon you sign for five years and we let you move to madrid in january 2012. that way the supporters get used to the fact that he wants to play in the sunshine. dont realy think united need him that much, way short of his best mainly because teams dont give him room anymore and the way taggert sets up his teams not to lose. this is the european way of playing learnt from years of champ league,s. united remind me of ac milan in the way they set up with energetic midfielders either making a back 6 or a front 3. seems to work weve played crap all season, gone to grounds where we normally lose ( fulham) and yet remain unbeaten. why do you think chelsea are struggling?? teams have worked a system of playing them, same will happen to all the top teams. its the one who adjusts best that will win this years premiership. dont write off arsenal just yet , there due a break. Rooney just hasn't got that passion anymore if it carries on you could see unrest within the other players Image Image
