I am afraid that you are probably right Mullarkey your 19lb last week probably didn't get you into the top 10 or anywhere near. I had a disastrous day, I shouldn't have gone as I wasn't at all well and almost collapsed in my peg. Ended up last in the section with 13lb 14oz but there were 5 * 20lb weights! Water clarity was 11 inches and it was the same on Wednesday I am told, so more skimmers tomorrow.

The roach are absolute clonkers this year. I think it is the warm water in the broads themselves that have pushed the bream, skimmers and big roach into the river. Hopefully the bream and skimmers will stay until September.
