A BIT OF HOMEWORK

I drew next to Tony last week on the Trent at Rolleston and got battered Image his 13.5 to my 12.13. When he got his hemp rigs out I decided to leave mine in my box as I know he is at the top of his game at that and I decided on just fishing waggler, :D I was beating him for the first 4 hours and then as ussually happens with hemp his peg got better and ended up with less fish but of a bigger stamp.Thought I might have just beat him but my fish faded last 45 mins, must try harder He was brilliant to watch fishing very long lines, and I mean long (top 5 and 6 in 6 foot of water) on a very windy day.
Must say him and choppy are the men on moving water this year. Lots of roach in the dyke and would be lovely to draw in the national as it seems there is lots in the peg you can do to generate some bites. Image
